Coaches and Rink Professionals Learn about Branding
This year’s annual conference will be a combination of two power skating organizations, the Professional Skaters Association and the Ice Skating Institute. The conference will lead off on Tuesday, May 31st with its second annual U.S. Open Professional Championships. A strong line up of professional skaters is expected.
The conference will once again be packed with great keynote sessions leading off with one from Scott Hamilton. There are many informative sessions that coaches, rink owners and other professionals in the skating world will enjoy. For additional information check out the PSA website www.skatepsa.com.
On Thursday afternoon, June 2nd, I will be presenting two sessions on branding for coaches and those in the skating industry such as rink owners, skating directors, groups and individuals who put on seminars and programs, and vendors who service the skating community.
How Coaches Grow their Business with a Clear Personal Brand
No one has to be famous or well known to grow their coaching practice by using a clear personal brand. It’s obvious to us when we see someone with a well-developed and distinctive brand. Every business, every coach needs to codify their unique message which reflects who they are and what they stand for. Personal brands help potential new skaters to hone in on a coach’s individual style, personality, method of coaching and developing their skaters, and how they interact with their athlete’s families. This panel discussion will unwrap rarely discussed personal insights into various coaching types and styles. Each coach on the panel will share how they developed, grew and enhanced their coaching business by having a clearly identifiable style and strategy to grow their business.
A Workshop to Develop and Refine Personal and Company Brands
Who are you, what do you stand for, and what makes you unique? Every coach, rink professional and vendor needs a distinctive brand essence that makes them stand out from the competition. This interactive session will provide the training tools, workbook, clear examples and strategies for developing personal, company or rink brands in order to grow their business and position in the marketplace. Attendees will learn how to enhance their position by incorporating a variety of marketing tools and business development tactics customized to meet their individual goals and objectives. As Oprah Winfrey once said, “Develop your own brand or one will be created for you!”
Hope to see you there!
